Option
1: Using a Pre-Cut Padded Railing
Before you start stapling the railing on, ensure the
ends meet on a long side and not on a corner so the joint is as seamless
as possible. Cut off any excess with a razor blade (See Figure 14.1
on the next page). A piece of black vinyl or leather tucked underneath
the top side and run around the rail can be used to conceal the connection
point of the railing. If you get the connection tight enough, you may
not even need this strip (See Figure 14.2 on the next page). A staple
gun is fairly permanent so again, you should practice on the extra materials
before you staple for real on your table. Using ½", 12mm
size staples, and secure it underneath every few inches.

That’s it! You’re finished! Be sure to Scotch
Guard your tabletop felt before play just in case a drink gets spilled.
Then, just add some quality clay chips, good friends, better drinks,
and have a blast on your new Texas Hold'em table. It's been a pleasure.
Good luck! |
