About the Venerati Poker Chip Line
With the launch of our artfully designed Venerati poker chip line, Sidepot Gaming
is breaking new ground in the quest towards finding a perfect balance between
quality and value – a welcome addition to our product mix in the current
economic conditions.
Modeled after our popular Archetype ceramic poker chip line, the Venerati line
features highly detailed, full color, edge to edge graphics, a luxuriously textured
surface, rolling edge text and graphics, and a solid and durable 10 gram heft.
In essence, you’re getting 90% of the quality of our Archetype chips at
35% of the price. The trade-offs are: 1) you get a little less resolution detail,
and 2) you get a little less durability. On the resolution front, the Venerati
set has been designed with this trade-off in mind – the design we went
with prints out clearly and is actually very intricate. On the durability front,
the Veneratis do chip easier than the Archetypes (which frankly are designed for
commercial use in a casino 24/7 for 7-10 years, not for periodic consumer use),
but it’s somewhat of a non-issue in a home game. The difference is that
you can throw our Archetypes 20 feet in the air and land them on cement and
they won’t chip. The Venerati’s usually will, but of course this isn’t
“normal use conditions” in a home game, where the Venerati’s
hold up just fine.
