The brilliance
of this Texas Holdem poker table stems from an intelligently designed
base that incorporates beauty as well as strength. Before the Monolith,
foot rail design was little more than an afterthought, and subsequently
a sturdiness weak point. The forward-thinking, single-piece crossbar
foot rail design of the Monolith represents a giant leap forward
in poker table sturdiness, not to mention inspiration for the Monolith
name.
This single-piece
construction concept goes beyond just the foot rail, as the bridge
between the pedestal bases is comprised of a second single-piece
strength adding component. Then, the tabletop is secured to these
base components with single long bolts on either pedestal, which
makes for simplistic and solid assembly every time.
To top it off,
some the finest poker table felt on the market (the same felt used
on the tables in the prestigious Bellagio poker room) is stretched
over casino-grade ¼ inch high-density foam. The premium vinyl
armrest (just like those found in the world’s finest casino
poker rooms) rests on top and fits snuggly over the felt tabletop
without need for securing of any kind, which makes it quick and
easy to swap out new felt when necessary.
